What We Offer

Three measured services,

Pension Enquiry Visit

Pension Enquiry Visit

A measured first visit where we discuss your situation, examine the documents you have to hand, and draft a brief written summary of how matters appear under Malaysian pension and employment law. You receive the summary on the day.

  • Written summary provided same day
  • Plain-English explanation of your position
  • No pressure to proceed further
RM 490 Enquire

A more detailed reading of contribution records, employment statements, and benefit-determination letters. We map the documents against the relevant calculations and identify points that warrant further enquiry — each one framed in plain English.

  • Full review of contribution history
  • Discrepancies clearly identified
  • Written findings you can follow

Why Sinaran Legal

A quiet room to think things through.

Plain-language explanations

Legal documents can be dense. We translate findings into clear, readable summaries so you understand your position before making any decision.

Malaysian pension law focus

Our work centres on pension and employment matters under Malaysian legislation — the Employees Provident Fund Act, the Pension Act, and related regulations.

No hurry, no pressure

Each service is designed to leave space between steps. You receive our written findings before we discuss what, if anything, to do next.

Strict confidentiality

Everything shared with us — documents, employment history, personal circumstances — remains within the bounds of professional legal privilege.

Clear written records

After every stage of engagement, you receive a written record of what was found and what was discussed — something you can refer back to at any time.

Step-by-step guidance

We do not outline the entire path on day one. We work through each stage with you and discuss the next step only once the current one is settled.

Questions

Some things people often ask us.

What should I bring to a Pension Enquiry Visit? +
Bring whatever pension-related documents you have — EPF statements, employment letters, benefit-determination notices, correspondence with administrators, or a personal record of contributions. If you do not have all of them, that is fine. We work with whatever is available and note what may be worth requesting from the relevant bodies.
How long does the first visit take? +
We set aside up to two hours for an Enquiry Visit. In practice, many visits run between 60 and 90 minutes. The written summary is prepared during and immediately after the meeting and provided to you on the same day before you leave.
Am I committed to anything after the first visit? +
No. The Enquiry Visit and the Records Examination are each complete services in themselves. After receiving the written summary, you are free to consider it at your own pace. We do not follow up with calls or prompts — if you wish to proceed, you contact us when you are ready.
Can you handle EPF disputes as well as public service pension matters? +
Yes. Our work covers both EPF-related matters under the Employees Provident Fund Act 1991 and public service pension matters under the Pensions Act 1980, as well as related employment disputes that bear on pension entitlements. At the first visit we identify which framework applies to your situation.
What if my case needs to go to a tribunal? +
Tribunal proceedings fall within the Long-form Resolution Programme. We prepare all written submissions, attend preliminary hearings, and represent you at the Industrial Court or relevant tribunal. We discuss the process with you in full before any formal steps are filed, and we keep you informed at each stage thereafter.
How are fees handled? +
Each service has a fixed fee stated in advance — RM 490 for the Enquiry Visit, RM 1,170 for the Records Examination, and RM 1,910 for the Long-form Resolution Programme. There are no add-ons or unexpected charges within these services. Any disbursements (such as filing fees) are discussed separately before they arise.
